Abstract

One of goal of marriage was to have the children. The presence of children in the family will be more add perfection in family. But not all husband and wife to get the baby, good for the first baby or want to increase the number of baby. Medical records of Dr . Moewardi hospital of Surakarta in 2017 the number of new fertilitas patients in dr .Moewardi hospital was recorded 1.083 new infertil patients from about 3.774 couples infertile. The objective study was aware of the identity in infertile couple marriage in Surakarta. The method study was quantitative study use descriptive and use retrospective approach. Samples from 244 infertile couples to technique sampling using a total sampling.The data had got from medical record of dr . Moewardi hospital. analysis data use tendency central wih frequency and percentage. The results showed that the characteristics of infertile couple in RSUD Dr. Moewardi pointed out that in wives and husbands most are 36-45 years of age, most of the education of both wives and husbands is high at the senior high school level, mostly wives as housewives while husbands work in the private sector, most of whom have long married between 11 and 15 years old, most have been trying to get children for 6-10 years, mostly primary infertile and mostly O blood type.
