Abstract
Higher population growth rates have resulted on the District of Colomadu is feared will make the level of water needs increased.The objectives of this research are 1) to determine the availability of free soil water in Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupatan Karanganyar 2) to determine the domestic water requirement in Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupatan karanganyar 3) to analyze the amount of groundwater availability to the domestic water needs in Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupatan Karanganyar. The method used is survey method. The calculation of groundwater availability is done by dynamic method of application of Darcy Law while for the amount of domestic groundwater requirement, interview is conducted. Factors used to determine the amount of groundwater availability with the dynamic method of application of Darcy Law is the coefficient of permeability, hydraulic gradient, and cross-sectional area. The results of this research are 1) The availability of free groundwater in Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupatan Karanganyar is 11.147.764,3 m3 / year. 2) The amount of domestic water requirement in Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupatan Karanganyar is 3.482.271,99 m3 / year, with average usage of 119, 09 liter / person / day. 3) The amount of groundwater supply to the domestic water requirement in Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupatan Karanganyar can be fulfilled. The amount of domestic water requirement is 31,24 % of the total groundwater availability so that there is a groundwater surplus.
