Abstract

Increasing the development of the means of life in the community mutually changing land use that causes the reduction of open land as land absorption. This causes the rise of air and air absorbed by the soil slightly. For that we need to make a good catch ment sink that serves to accommodate and absorb the rain into the ground slowly. Making infiltration wells is one effective way to increase the capacity of land infiltration, which in turn can increase the ground air reserves. In addition, infiltration wells serve to reduce volume and speed. The calculation of the maximum flood discharge becomes a parameter to see the need. This study uses a number of primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained from. For characteristic information in UMS Campus II are a. Secondary data, topographic data and building area data of Campus II UMS. By calculating the parameters based on existing data, it can beconcluded for the need of infiltration wells Campus II Muhammadiyah University Surakarta as many as 8 pieces of infiltration wells with radius of 0.5-1 meters and depth of 0.36-2.56 meters.
