Abstract

The availability of regulation about child protection is expected to provide the protection to child in any field including the handling of a crime that befell the victim’s child. Protection, prevention, eradication and handling of the criminal act of human trafficking is not only the roles of police or other Law Enforcement, but also there are cooperation between agency or other institute which consciously to handle the problems of trafficking. legal protection to child as human trafficking victims in the region of Surakarta divided into two parts namely Repressive Law dan preventive Law decision No 201/Pid.Sus/2016/PN.Skt. And the obstacles in legal protection to child as human trafficking victims in the region of Surakarta by District Court of Surakarta consist of their own legal factor, law enforcer factor, facilites and infrastructure factor, society factor, and cultural factor. Meantime, the obstacles by Kakak Foundation consist of law enforcer, infrastructure and lack of law understanding.
