Abstract

This study investigate further the influence of Islamic Work Ethics and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Commitment. It uses a sample of 174 non-lecturer employees of Muhammadiyah Surakarta University. The results show that Islamic Work Ethics has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction. Job Satisfaction variables also positively influence on Organizational Commitment. And in this research there is a partial influence of mediation between Islamic Work Ethic and Organizational Commitment, with Job Satisfaction variable as mediator. This research will discuss more about the implications, limitations and suggestions for future research
