Abstract

This study aims to find a model for the development of libraries in SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri so that the existence of the library can be a triggers of school literacy movement. Research method using survey or qualitative besides basic risearch. The subjects of the study were students of SMK Negeri 2, teachers, library staff of SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data using source triangulation. Data analysis with data collection techniques, reduction, presentation of data and conclusions. Result of research: (1) Model of SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri library, covering function of library during this time, and description of management done. (2) Library Development Model of SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri. Library development uses literacy as its basic where the literation relates three elements in it is habituation, development and learning.
