Abstract
This study aims to describe (1) variation of learning resources used in learning Indonesian in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar, (2) the reasons teachers choose learning resources in learning Indonesian in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar, (3) the application of learning resources in language learning Indonesia in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar, (4) the benefits of learning resources used in learning Indonesian in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data in this research is information about the variation of learning resources, the reason for the teacher to choose the source of learning, the way the teacher apply the source of learning, and the benefits of learning resources in learning Indonesian in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Sources of data in this study are informants, document learning devices, places and events in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are flow analysis techniques, which consists of three activities, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) display data, and (3) drawing conclusions. The results of this study are (1) variation of learning resources used in learning Indonesian in SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar include: print learning resources, non print, environment, activity facilities and ICT learning resources. (2) The reason teachers in selecting learning resources outline is: easier use and easy acquisition, especially the source of learning form print, easier to provide a picture with reality; and get material facts and reality. (3) How to apply learning resources adapted to Syllabus and RPP. Adjustments are meant within the scope of the learning materials. The suitability of teaching materials and learning resources can create effective and efficient learning. (4) The benefits of using a variety of learning resources are: (a) can add insight into learning materials; (b) the student is more interested or not boring; and (c) the use of students' learning resources can directly write ideas by direct observation
