Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of mathematical learning with Kumon model that can integrate the ability of learners on affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The research method used a qualitative discriminative with ethnographic approach. The research subjects are counselors, counselors assistant, student and their parent of the student Kumon. Techniques of collecting data using observatian, interviews and dokumentation. Data validity using source triangulation. Data analysis with data collection techniques, reduction, presentatian and conclusion. Research result : (1) planning activities include planning and learning materials. Planning of the learning consist of goal setting, principles, methods, discipline of student learning in the classroom. The planning of the material learning consist of preparation of the placement test question, the determinatino of the material learning from the bottom until the top level and preparation of feedback books. (2) Implementation of learning student must follow the learning path that has been set. (3) The evaluation activity of the learning Kumon using evaluation form are homework that is done every day expect the class day, exercises on the day of class and completion at the end of level.
