Abstract

Management of educational innovation is necessary in managing Islamic education institutions. As good as any school building and as much as any learner but not accompanied by a good Islamic innovation education management will reduce the good image of the School. There are at least 4 management functions that need to be applied in Islamic schools such as planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. The purpose of this research is to describe Management of Islamic Education Innovation in SD Muhammadiyah 01 and 07 Cilacap in the form of planning process, organizing, actuating and controlling innovation of Islamic education in both schools. The type of this research is a qualitative field research. The data collection used in this research is observation method, interview, and documentation. In the qualitative descriptive analysis using inductive and deductive approach is analyzing data from the specific facts, than from those, withdrawn the common generalization and then the conclusion is made associated with the general statement into specific statement. The results of the research are: SD Muhammadiyah 01 Cilacap and SD Muhammadiyah 07 Cilacap have performed management functions in terms of innovation of Islamic religious education, including the functions of planning, organizing, implementation and supervision. From the elaboration of theory and facts in schools there is a match between the theory of management functions with the facts of management in SD Muhammadiyah 01 Cilacap and SD Muhammadiyah 07 Cilacap.
