Abstract
Background: Measles and Rubella are infectious disease. Vaccinating, can cut the transmission chain to eliminated Measles and Rubella. Availability of information related to the action to be taken by mother. Complete information about MR vaccine will encourage people to participate in the MR Vaccine. In addition, paritas also plays a role in the mother's interest to participate in the MR vaccine Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal information received from health promotion media about vaccine MR (Measles Rubella) , parity and participation interest in vaccination at Kartasura Community Health Center. Methods: This study used a type of analytic observational study with Cross Sectional research design. This research was conducted in the working area of Kartasura community health center on December 2017. Sampling technique is Cluster Random Sampling. The number of samples used were 60 respondents. Hypothesis test is done by using Fisher test. Results: The results showed interest in MR Vaccine as many as 48 respondents (80%). MR information from health promotion media as many as 47 respondents (78.3%). Coverage there was multipara as many as 45 respondents (75%). There is a relation between information received by mother from health promotion media about MR vaccine to interest of participation of MR vaccination at Kartasura Community Health Center shown with pvalue (0.000) <0,05 (H0: rejected). The result of data analysis about parity, there is no relationship between the parity of interest in the participation of MR vaccination at Kartasura Community Health Center shown by pvalue (1,000) > 0,05.
