Abstract

The aims of this research is to find the correlation between the hardiness personality with discipline, the level of hardiness personality, the level of discipline, and the effective contribution of hardiness personality to the disiciplie. The participant of this research are 58 membersof teh Army of Batalyon Infanteri Mekanis 413/Bremoro. The sample collection technique in this research is purposive sampling. This research used quantitative method and using measuring scale of hardiness personality and scale of discipline. The data analyse technique of this research is correlation of Product Moment from Carl Pearson using SPSS 16 for windows program. By the outcome of data analysis, showed the value of correlation coefficient 0,864 with sig. (p) 0,000 (p < 0,01) it means that there is a significant positive relation between hardiness personality and discipline to the membersof the Army of Batalyon Infanteri Mekanis 413/Bremoro. The mean empirical (ME) of variable hardiness personality is as big as 147,41 and mean hipotetocal is as big as 125 is included in high category, while the mean empirical (ME) of discipline is as big as 96,02 and mean hipotetocal (MH) is as big as 80 is included in high category. The effective contribution of hardiness personality with discipline is 71,6% so there is 28,4% that influenced by another factors.
