Abstract

The problems of the city have begun to be seen in the city life of Surakarta such as traffic density, environmental degradation, and this makes it difficult to provide facilities and infrastructure to save the environment and to meet the needs of the community, the complexity of life that is now affected by Solo society disaster. For people who have a little time for a vacation usually choose a practical and easy to achieve holiday such as going to the Mall. It takes more than just a mall to be able to meet the psychological problems of the people of Solo. In addition, pets can be able to reduce one's emotional state because interaction with pets alone can reduce stress levels. For that need a recreational container like Solo Pet Mall with the theme of sustainable architecture that can be a recreation center for animal lovers. Its function in addition to being a meeting place of pet lovers, there is also an un center to meet the needs of the people of Solo city and his pet.
