Abstract

Decent dwelling is a primary need that becomes a basic human need. However, various problems exist in meeting this need. The ever-increasing number of people can not be matched by the availability of available land. Vertical building becomes a solution that is considered to be in accordance with the times, but it needs government presence to make it happen. One of the areas that has this program is Boyolali District. However, the manifestation of vertical house building is constrained by land price that exceeds the set price standard. The concept of rejuvenation to Vertical Village is considered suitable for the government to make this happen, where the government does not need to buy a high population land but replace it with a vertical building unit. The concept of child-friendly areas is also included in order to refer Boyolali District as a child-friendly area and as a manifestation of Human Rights.
