Abstract

The purpose of this study there are three. First describe the procurement of equipment and materials in the workshop practices Mechanical SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen. Second describing the use of tools and materials in the workshop practices Mechanical SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen. Third describe Maintenance of tools and materials in the workshop practices Mechanical SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Sragen. This type of research is qualitative research with a naturalistic approach. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The informant as a resource is the principal, vice-principal fields of infrastructure, head of engineering packages mechanical and mechanical engineering practice teacher. The collected data was analyzed by means of data reduction, presentation / display data and drawing conclusions / verification. Testing the validity of using, triangulation source and triangulation techniques. The procurement of tools and materials is divided into 2, the first procurement of inventory of non-consumable equipment is held by a team formed by the Muhammadiyah Primary and Secondary Education Council of Sragen Regency, the second procurement of equipment and consumables by a shopping team formed by the principal. Based on the results of research for the procurement of mechanical engineering workshop equipment is good, but need maintenance equipment on periodically. Similarly, for an inventory of equipment and materials showed the results have not optimal due to the absence of special storage space.
