Abstract
This study aimed to describe the character that includes learning implementation, planning, implementation, assessment, inhibiting factors, and supporting experienced teachers. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were teachers, students, and the principal at SDN Kepatihan, Jebres. The object of this research is the implementation of learning characterized in SDN Kepatihan. Data was obtained through interviews, and documentation analysis. Test the credibility of the data used in this study was the observation perseverance and triangulation methods. The results obtained in this study are already implemented in the instructional character in SDN Kepatihan learning, both in the planning, implementation, and assessment of learning. In the planning stage of learning, teachers have included the values of the characters that will be implemented in learning the syllabus and lesson plans. Implementation of the overall learning already implement the values of the character. Outcome measures include assessment of student achievement has been affected. Assessment is done through observations, questions, and discussion of classical. Factors inhibiting learning implementation at SDN Kepatihan student’s character in learning that teachers have difficulty in choosing a character value and combine them with learning materials, assess learning achievement in character, and learning media are less supportive. Factors supporting the implementation of learning in teaching character in that neighborhood residents SDN Kepatihan, infrastructure, and setting a coherent teaching schedule.
