Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was: 1) Describes the use of diction and connotation denoted in the language of advertising the drug in Pharmacies Subdistrict Huts Grobogan. 2) Describes the meaning of the occurrence of the use of diction and connotation denoted in the language of advertising the drug in Pharmacies Subdistrict Huts Grobogan. This research developed with qualitative methods are purely descriptive. Technique of data analysis using the method of agih and methods in accordance. The method agih is a method of analysis of the penentunya tool located on the part of the concerned language itself. Indeterminate method is a method of analysis tool penentunya on the outside, apart, and did not become part of the language in question. Based on the research results obtained conclusions, namely: 1) use of diction and connotation denoted in the language of advertising the drug in Pharmacies Subdistrict Huts Grobogan shows that 20 of the data analyzed contained 12 ad text that uses diction and connotation 8 ad text uses diction denoted. 2) Meaning the use of diction and connotation denoted in the language of advertising the drug in Pharmacies Subdistrict Huts Grobogan aims to attract the attention of consumers, arouse the interest of the consumer, the consumer's desire to stimulate the use of the advertised drug product, as well as create self confidence in consumers.
