Abstract
This research was conducted in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kartasura which aimed to identify whether there is influence of UMS image toward the interest of XII students study of SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kartasura to study at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS). Methods in this study using Quantitative methods and data used in the form of primary and secondary data with the analysis of results using regression and correlation analysis. This is intended, to further clarify the relationship between variables. This research design uses an associative research model with data collection techniques used by proposing a structured questionnaire. Samples taken by all students of class XII SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kartasura. The results of this study indicate that there is a correlation between the image that is owned by the UMS towards the interest of students of grade XII SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kartasura. Where there is influence of UMS image to student's interest Student of grade XII of SMA 4 Muhammadiyah Kartasura with rᵪᵧ = 0,798 received at significance level of image 5% (p <0,05) with t test that get value; t count =>, t table = (8,979> 2,021) with p <0,05 which means there is significant influence from college image to the interest of studying in college Consideration of skill suit is the statement of the most highly approved students, meaning UMS is a private university that is able to provide a good image of student interest based on the skills offered through the existing study program has been felt in accordance with the needs of prospective students.
