Things to consider in the method of learning one of them is about lighting and lighting, this aspect is very important for learning because the level of lighting on the light greatly affects the effectiveness of learning. The standard used for study room with a length of 3 m and width of 4 m is 240 lux, usually in the room using the type of TL lamp with 10 Philips wattage produces lux of 241 lux by using this lamp meets the standard. This study also measured the need for electrical energy by using a measuring instrument that is Tang Amper to measure current and voltage and also use another tool that is Lux Meter to measure the lamp lumen. The results of this study comparing the energy needs per day and per month with an existing formula. Daily requirement for 8 hour lamp usage, for example energy usage of TL lamp 10 watt multiplied by 8 hours per day produce power equal to 0,55 Kwh while monthly calculation TL 10 watt multiply times 30 days yield power equal to 1,67 Kwh, can be concluded from this research every Cos Ø and different brands of lights and watts produce different energy and loads as well.
