Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) Planning for the inculcation of student discipline value. 2) Form of organizing system in planting student discipline value. 3) Form of implementation of the student discipline value. 4) The inhibiting factor in the inculcation of student discipline values. 5) Solution in overcoming the existing obstacles. This type of research is qualitative research, with case study design. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. In Analysis with interactive model. The results of this study are: 1) Planning of disciplinary values in SD Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta planned by principals, teachers and parents, in the presence of this joint planning, will generate rules on the inculcation of disciplinary values in elementary schools, with this planning, so that students can become personal discipline with existing rules. 2) Organizing system is done by involving: principals, teachers, and parents in the implementation of the value of school discipline. 3) The implementation of disciplinary values is done by habituation of rules activities performed by students. In the implementation there is also an award given to students who are disciplined, awards are educational and motivate students to be more disciplined. There is also a punishment given to educate students who are less disciplined. 4) Factors supporting the establishment of disciplinary values in SD Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta, are some of the pupils in primary schools are very supportive of disciplinary programs conducted schools, from teachers and from the principal. Obstacles in the cultivation of disciplinary values in primary schools are the lack of communication from the school and parents, there are still students who do not comply with existing rules or lack of discipline. 5) Disseminating school programs on the inculcation of disciplinary values to students and parents. Cooperate with parents and community in the process of planting disciplinary values. Conduct good communication between the school and parents. Provide good advice and role models to students. Providing sanctions for undisciplined students. Conducting regular meetings every morning with the principal. Make a visit to the student's home to know the condition and development of the child directly.
