Abstract

ABSTRACT This researcher purpose was to know a self-esteem and procrastination work at Hospital staffs of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The hypothesis used relationship between negative both of self-steem and procrastination work at Hospital staffs of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The subject of this research was 100 subjects from non-medical staffs at Hospital staffs of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The technique of data analysis used non parametric Spearman’s rho colorations. The hypothesis conclusion there was negative significance relationship between self-esteem and procrastination work, it showed rxy = -0,553 and p = 0,000 (p< 0.01). Thus, hypothesis of the researcher was acceptable. Contribution effectiveness of self-esteem for procrastination work is 30,58 % it means that beside self-esteem still has 69,42 % factor that effect of procrastination work. As attitude which consisted by the blame word from him self, depression and the low of competitiveness. Therefore, the conclusion of this research that self-esteem distribution to procrastination work attitude. Keywords: Self-esteem, Procrastination work.
