Abstract

Dental caries or tooth decay is a damage that occurs on the hard surface of teeth or enamel due to the slow decay that causes the surface of the tooth is open and perforated. Dental caries is permanent and if not treated, it will become larger and result in the tooth. Nowadays, the comunity sometimes just find out a health information when there is acommunication between patient and the doctor when getting an examination due to a grievance. A smart phone android based many application development that can give various information one of them about oral and dental health. The purpose of this application that can be accessed by smart phone with android operating system as a media of information in learning about dental and oral health. There are some methods that used are system requirement analysis, planning and designing systems, system testing and implementation. The result of dental and oral health application to the respondent shows more than 70% said the application is useful. In addition, more than 75% of the information in the application is valid.
