Abstract
Co-gasification technology of bubbling fluidized bed gasifier reactor is the conversion process of two mixed solid fuel into combustible gas thermochemically. This process requires about 50% of air combustion. Coal is the most effective fossil energy source to replace petroleum with high heating value excess, while saw dust is a biomass that can be used as an eco-energy source with low energy density weakness. Bubbling fluidized bed gasifier reactor used for this research with diameter of 160 mm with height 1230mm and thickness of 3 mm. Silika sand used mess 30 and 50 as bed particles. The composition of the fuel mixture uses 3 variations with total fuel of 3kg that's 33.3% coal: 66.6% wood powder, 50% coal: 50% wood powder, and 66.6% coal: 33.3% powder wood, by comparing the amount of heat produced. The operating temperature in this experiment was 400 ° C. The result of the test, the highest amount of heat was found in the fuel mixture 66.6% coal: 33.3% wood powder that's 2101,430 KJ. This is because the composition of coal fuel more than wood powder biomass.
