Abstract
Mild steel is one component of the roof truss of a building. In general, roofs are made of painted wood / teer as resistant to termites and concrete as the main building, due to the earthquake and high rise buildings, the installation of roof frames of wood and concrete in the field will not be good impact on a building, in addition to the relative price expensive also has a heavy. In this study try to analyze how much flexural strength of mild steel C profile. Expected in this study, the mild steel C profile can be used as a replacement for roof frames of wood and concrete type without overriding the strength of the mild steel C profile. From the research results obtained from the strong bending profile of mild steel C of each specimen. Strong bending profile of mild steel C with height 7.5 cm, thickness 1 mm from PT. Taso with span 1 m and with one point of compressive load at yield deflection of 9.3 mm, Pmax 214 kg and σlt (flexural strength) 22,911791 Kg / mm2 while from PT. Primary steel with the same specimens was generated with a deflection of 9 mm, Pmax 210 kg and σlt (flexible strength) 22.483533 Kg / mm2. Strong bending profile of mild steel C with height 7.5 cm, thickness 0.75 mm from PT. Taso with span 1 m and with one point of compressive load at result of deflection of 10 mm, Pmax 156,7 kg and σlt (flexural strength) 22,009938 Kg / mm2 while from PT. Primary steel with the same specimens was generated by a deflection of 9.6 mm, Pmax 150 kg and σlt (bending strength) 21.068862 Kg / mm2. Strong bending profile of mild steel C with height 7.5 cm, thickness 1 mm from PT. Taso with span of 1 m and with two points of compressive load produced a deflection of 9.4 mm, Pmax 323.4 kg and σlt (flexural strength) 34.624642 Kg / mm2 while from PT. Premening steel with the same specimens was generated by a deflection of 9.4 mm, Pmax 300 kg and σlt (flexible strength) 32.119334 Kg / mm2. Strong bending profile of mild steel C with height 7.5 cm, thickness 0.75 mm from PT. Taso with span 1 m and with two points of compressive load at yield deflection of 10 mm, Pmax 200 kg and σlt (bending strength) 28,091816 Kg / mm2 while from PT. Premening steel with the same specimens was generated by a deflection of 9.6 mm, Pmax 190 kg and σlt (strong bending) 26.687225 Kg / mm2.
