Abstract

This study aims to: Know the prepositions placement functions, determine the types of prepositions, and knowing the materials development on a novel class of prepositions said Months Tere Liyework. Data collection techniques used in the study library technique by collecting the prepositional phrase. Then refer to the technique used and note. Mechanical consider is how the researchers used to obtain data that is done by observing the use of language, while the note technique is a technique that is done when applying the technique consider (Mahsun, 2005: 92). Data analysis techniques used in this study using techniques read many. Read many technique is a technique used to find public prosecutor's office lingual unit through marker-owned. Marker indicates kejatian lingual unit or the identity of certain constituents. The ability to read the role of marker that means the ability of determining the public prosecutor's office is (Sudaryanto, 1993: 95) .. The results of this study are a function of prepositions placement onnovel the Moon works Tere Liye. Based on the type of prepositions are categorized into three basic prepositions such as prepositions in, to and from.For the preparation of teaching materials Indonesian language class, prepositions can be arranged with the competence of the contents "Understand, implement, analyze, and evaluate the factual knowledge, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive by curiosity about science, technology, art, culture, and humanities with insight humanitarian, national, state, and civilization with the causes of phenomena and events, as well as applying procedural knowledge in a specific field of study according to their talents and interests to solve the problem".
