Abstract
Karangpandan market is one of the center of greengrocery in Kabupaten Karanganyar. As one of the center of greengrocery, it sure has any trading variation, whether from in trade or out trade. The method used in this research is census. The population taken is all of vegetable seller with total population is 38 persons. The method to get data is done by interview, to know the characteristic and seller network variation. The result of this research showed there are two seller network variation. First network, vegetable seller of Karangpandan market got vegetable from farmer directly by sending to Karangpandan market, it was sent from Kecamatan Ngargoyoso, Kecamatan Tawangmangu, and Kecamatan Matesih. The locations of greengrocery besides in Karangpandan, the trader sells vegetable still in Kabupaten Karanganyar zone which Bejen Market, Lalung Market, Jongke Market, Jaten Market, and Palur Market through collector traders as agency. The second variation, the traders of Karangpandan Market got the vegetables from wholesaler, from Kabupaten Boyolali, Wonosobo, Plaosan, Kediri, and Malang by taking it to these locations. The marketing location happened until outside of Kabupaten Karanganyar which, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Sragen, and Surakarta (Solo) by wholesaler. The characteristic of traders of Karangpandan Market dominantly by women (23.68%). Place of origin is dominated from place of market which is mean from one kecamatan, Kecamatan Karangpandan (42.1%). The age averagely from 45-54 years (28.95%), level of education averagely SMP, it’s low classified (44,76%), business length averagely 11-20 years (44,73%), total family dependents approximately between 2-5 (78.94%), daily income averagely from Rp.200,000-400,000 (55,26%).
