Abstract

Giribangun forest is located around Cemetery Giribangun and Mangadeg at station I (230-330 m.dpl) and station II (500-660 m.dpl). The purpose of this research are to determine the types of macrofungi in Giribangun forest area. The method used is exploration with purposive sampling study for determining location of research. Intake of macrofungi do whenever finding and not do it again for the same fungi. Identification by observing and recording the morphological characteristic of sample, include habitus, habitat, and utilization. Then, the data of observing analyzed by qualitative descriptive. The result of this research is obtained 13 species of macrofungi in 6 families, they are Xylariaceae, Polyporaceae, Phanerochaetaceae, Auriculariaceae, Schizophyllaceae, and Tremellaceae. That macrofungi are Hexagonia sp., Hexagonia tenuis, Annulohypoxylon bovei, Byssomerulius corium, Xylaria polymorpha, Auricularia polytricha, Schizophyllum commune, Tremella fuciformis, Trametes gibbosa, Trametes versicolor, Microporus xanthopus, Microporus sp. and Ganoderma lucidum.
