Abstract
Concrete is a building material composed of the main composition of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, water, and Portland Cement. Recently, concrete has been increasingly criticized, because of the greenhouse gas (carbon dioxide) emissions produced in the cement production process. With these considerations, a new concrete binding agent called geopolymer concrete was developed. One of the materials used in the manufacture of geopolymer concrete is fly ash ash (fly ash). By using fly ash as a substitute of cement is considered to maintain the environment and reduce the cost of construction. In this study the specimens used were cylinders, with a diameter of 15cm and a height of 30cm.Pengujian tensile strength done at the concrete at the age of 21 and 28 days. The aim of this research is to know the tensile strength of geopolymer concrete with the variation of compiler, aggregate with binder 25:75, 30:70, 35:65 and 40:60 at the concrete age 21,28 hari.Mix design refers to previous research Prasetyo , GB (2015). The number of specimens in each variation is 3 specimens, so that the total number of specimens is 24. The cylindrical test object is 15cm in diameter and 30cm in height. The result data of tensile strength test of geopolymer concrete on the variation of 25:75 and 25:75 sulfur composition variation on 21 days concrete is 1,322 MPa, and at 28 days is 1.462MPa. In the 30:70 variation of the 30:70 and 30 days variation of the concrete is 1,452 MPa, and at 28 days is 1,899MPa. In the comparison variation 35:65 penysun materials and on the variation of 21 days of concrete is 1,489 MPa, and at 28 days is 1.504 MPa. In the variation of 40:60 and 40 days after the variation of the concrete 215 days is 1.556MPa, and at 28 days is 1.594MPa. It can be concluded that the maximum variation of the constituent material of geopolymer in the ratio of 40:60 at the age of 28 days.
