Abstract

This study aims to describe the role play role planning, role play learning, role play evaluation, and teacher's role playing in Indonesian language learning in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. This research is qualitative descriptive qualitative research. The data in this research is the lesson information playing the role of Indonesian language learning. Sources of data in this study are resource persons, places and events, documents, test results. Data collection techniques with observation techniques, resource persons, documentation, and tests. Analysis of this research data by interactive analysis, consists of three stages of analysis, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and data withdrawal. The results of this study resulted in the learning of role playing in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta covering 3 outcomes, namely: (1) learning plan of role play in Indonesian language subjects prepare annual program, semester program, syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan, learning material, learning method and instrument learning, learning evaluation role play. (2) role play learning is carried out with preliminary procedures, core activities, and coverings, which include theory and practice learning. (3) in role playing lessons there are two types of evaluation, namely written evaluation and performance evaluation. (4) teacher's effort in planning, execution, mastery of material and class have been in accordance with indicator that is achieved that is increase of test, skill, and student comprehension in playing role increasing.
