Abstract
This study aims to find out and analyze the process of socialization of the democratic party of the election of the village head, Describes the requirements to become a Village Head Candidate, to know and analyze people's perceptions of the democracy party of the election of the village head, And find obstacles and explain the solution in organizing the party democracy of village head election in Gumpang village. This type of research is qualitative research with empirical juridical approach. This research was conducted in Gumpang Village, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency. Data collection is done through interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis method used is sociology analysis method. The results of this study can be concluded that the election of village heads in Gumpang village begins with the socialization of the announcement of the election of the head of Gumpang Village. The election requirement of village head in Gumpang village refers to Regulation No. 10 of 2015 and Regent Regulation No. 22 of 2016 and provisions added by the committee is a requirement that prospective candidates must already be domiciled in Gumpang Village. The society's view of the election of village head election democracy party in Gumpang village was responded with positive and negative views. The negative response from the village head election on average came from community groups whose candidate head of village lost that considers that the process of pilkades has been fraudulent so that candidate head of village lost.. The positive outlook is that people's experience and awareness of village head elections has increased. Implementation of village head election in Gumpang Village starting from preparation process, registration, execution, and announcement of winner of village head election do not experience obstacle. This is supported by the maintenance of the condition of the people of Gumpang Village who remain in a conducive situation.
