Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the implementation of the Character Cultivation and social caring through the organization of MPA Sangguru FKIP UMS. This research is a kind of qualitative research with interview strategy, observation and documentation. The resource persons of this research are members and management of MPA Sangguru FKIP UMS. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation. Data validity uses data source triangulation, and data collection techniques. Data analysis using interactive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the planting of the character of discipline through the organization of MPA Sangguru FKIP UMS in carrying out the duties and functions of the organization enough to have good character discipline, which is usually violated it is only a matter of arrival time at the meeting of members and meeting activities. Obstacles experienced related to the implantation of the character of discipline through the organization MPA Sangguru FKIP UMS namely a. the SAKKA MPA's management tools are less consistent with the existing rules, lack of self-awareness of members or executives in the implementation of the organization's work program; b. regular exercise that should be the obligation and the needs of each individual member but instead instead be made a burden in itself members; c. less responsible for the execution of the task given. Solutions given related to the impediments of implantation of the character of discipline through the organization of MPA Sangguru FKIP UMS is a. always reminds all members and managers of the SAGAA MPA for the task of the organization as well as providing motivation in the implementation of the work program of the organization of MPA Sangguru; b. the chairman of the Sangguru MPA gives rewards to each member as well as the organizers who have good performance and performance in performing the duties of the organization, Schedule regular training for all members; and c. MPA Sangguru's managing device 3 (three) times a week both physical and technical exercises; d. Approach between members of both senior and junior members by sharing together organizational, academic, or personal issues. the implementation of social caring of character through the organization of MPA Sangguru is done through blood donation, community service, natural disaster response and SAR operation. Blood donor activity is a form of social awareness of MPA Sangguru members towards other people in need, and by directly plunge into society, besides through disaster emergency activities and SAR operation is a form of sympathy and empathy towards relatives affected by natural disaster.
