Abstract
Al-Qolam Junior High School Muhammadiyah Gemolong is a junior high school in Gemolong sub-district, which includes an Islamic school-based school that implements a day-school system or full day school which is expected to streamline the value of Islamic education through certain strategies to achieve success in planting the values of Islamic education in SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong. Based on the above background the authors are interested to examine the strategy of Islamic values investment in SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong and the superiority of SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong in the field of Islamic values investment strategy. Based on the purpose of this study is to describe the forms of strategy of Islamic values investing in SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong and analyze the values of excellence SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong in the Islamic values of education. This research includes field research using a qualitative approach. The method used in collecting data in this research is by interview method, documentation, and observation with research subjects of all citizens of SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong school principals, teachers, employees, and students. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong has implemented a strategy of Islamic values investment with several steps, among others: through recognition, guidance of virtue, exemplary, appreciation of values and the practice of values. As for the intended value here is the values of Islamic education that includes the value of aqidah education, the value of shari'ah education, and the value of moral education. As for the excellence of SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong in the strategy of planting the values of Islamic education is exemplary teachers in the implementation of Islamic education values embodied in the habituation to carry out all activities both in association and worship effectively in school.
