Abstract

The development of information and communication technology may accur a paradigm shift of education in the of globalizationera. The existence of information technology, internet network, and acceleration of information become the basis of paradigm shift in the field of education and future information era. SDIT MTA Gemolong has problem condition about education administration because of the number of school citizen and the facilityand infrastructurein order to record and report the development data are become the heavy work. Financial records, the arrangement of the learning process (curriculum), student administration, facilities and infrastructure, and public relations also require the effective and efficient administration or management. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the utilization of information and communication technology in the education administration at SDIT MTA Gemolong. This type of research is descriptive research. Descriptive research is intended to describe a state or phenomenon as it is. The study design is phenomenology. Phenomenological research is a study that emphasizes the efforts of investigators to examine the natural phenomenon that is happening in the overall complexity. The results showed that SDIT MTA Gemolong utilize the development of information and communication technology in various fields. This school has been using IT in various fields such asschool administration, teacher administration and finance administration, teaching and learning process activity, infrastructure like multimedia room, computer laboratory, and the public relations is also using website, sms gateway, whatsapp group and etc. The development of information technology can improve the performance and many activities can be done quickly, precisely and accurately, so that itwill increase productivity and quality of education at SDIT MTA Gemolong. Based on the results of the research, to develop the utilization of information and communication technology in the education administration at SDIT MTA Gemolongsugeest to empowerment of potential education personnel to be able to master the information and communication technology so that the school is more advanced. And prepare the facilities and infrastructure based on information and communication technology completely and adequately.
