Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) to describe the process of acquisition and result of moral education of children, (2) to describe the effort of parents in the process of moral education of children. The type of research is qualitative approach. Inductive analysis is used to test the theory with facts obtained in the field. The results of the study (1) the acquisition of morals in Beji Hamlet, Kalitengah Sub-District, Wedi Sub-district came from (a) family, (b) school environment, (c) Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an and (d) peer and community environment. The process of acquiring children's education varies greatly with place, space, and time. (2) The parent's effort in the moral education of the child is done by (a) habituation, (b) counsel, (c) exemplary, and (d) punishment if breaking the rules or making mistakes.
