Abstract

Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) is a worker's understanding of various matters relating to personal protective equipment used at work, obedient workers have the knowledge and awareness to protect themselves against safety hazards and will behave safely in carrying out their work. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge level of PPE with the compliance of PPE mask usage at the PT. Panen Boyolali. The type of this research is Observational Analytic, with cross sectional approach. The sample of this research as many as 54 workers from the total population of 120 workers in the pelintingan PT. Panen Boyolali. The independent variable in this research is the level of knowledge of personal protective equipment. While the dependent variable in this research is compliance of PPE mask usage. The result of this research analysis by using pearson product moment test and show that there is correlation between level of knowledge of PPE with compliance of PPE mask usage on labor of PT. Harvest Boyolali with p-value 0,000 with correlation coefficient 0,526 which means there is closeness of relationship (medium) between knowledge level of PPE with compliance of PPE mask usage at worker of PT. Panen Boyolali.
