Abstract

Fried food is the favorite food in Indonesia. Fried food must be related to oil. There are several ways to drain the oil so that not too much oil and fried foodcan be enjoyed.The process of incision is generally using “serok”, winnowing, and also oil paper. In addition there are also using plastic carpet that is not hygienic. These tools have many shortcomings in their use. It is therefore necessary to design a slicer that has the advantage to cover the deficiencies in the existing tool. Reverse engineering method is a very suitable method used in this study in addition to this method because it is flexible, this method uses the basic concept of analyzing deficiencies and also the existing advantages that are used to design new designs. The design of the tool that has the shape of the shelf has a level.The level here has a function of summarizing the place. In addition, the tool that measures 36 cm x 30 cm x50 cm has two different types of baking pan. The first tray is made of aluminum and has a working cavity for the oil to drip down.And the second pan serves as a container for oil to accommodate oil. This tool also makes eating more tidy and easier for traders to take fried food. Not only that, this tool can also be used to drain food that is soft and easy to crumble.
