Abstract

Compliance in the implementation of ANC services in accordance with the standards affects the quality of ANC services and the reduction of MMR. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship of knowledge, length of practice, training, and supervision with the compliance of service standard of Antenatal Care (ANC) by Independent Midwife Practiceswith highest Maternal Mortallity Rate Areasin Boyolali District. The type of this research is quantitative analytic research with cross sectional approach. The population in this research were all self-employed midwives (BPM) located in five sub-districts that have the highest maternal mortality cases in Boyolali District is Ngemplak sub-district (11 midwives), Nogosari sub-district (8 midwives), Teras sub-district (10 midwives), Mojosongo sub- (10 midwives), and Banyudono sub-district (11 midwives) totaling is 50 BPM.The sample selection of 50 Independent Midwife Practices was done by using exhaustive sampling technique. Statistical test technique using Chi Square test. The result of the research shows that there is a correlation between knowledge (p-value = 0,040; r = 0,308), there is correlation between practice length (p-value = 0,008; r = 0,384), there is correlation between the training (p-value = 0,002; r = 0,434), there is correlation between supervision (p-value = 0,000; r = 0,521) with compliance of service standard of ANC by BPM with highest Maternal Mortallity Rate Areas in Boyolali District.Boyolali District Health Office needs to optimize continuous and comprehensive supervision of BPM with a regular schedule in an effort to improve BPM compliance with the implementation of ANC service standards.
