Abstract

Burnout is exhaustion or physical fatigue in the mental, and emotions that occur due to stress in the long term, in situations that require high involvement. One of the factors affecting the burnout is locus of control internal. This study aims to determine the relationship between locus of controlinternal with burnout, locus of control internal level, burnout rate and effective contribution of locus of controlinternalto burnout. Researchers use quantitative methods to achieve the objectives of this study. Research subjects used in this study were Nurse at Hospital Islam Amal Sehat Sragen which amounted to 70 nurses. The sampling technique used was population study. The result of data analysis showed correlation (r) value of - 0,640 with significance (p) = 0,000 (p <0,01). This shows there is a very significant negative relationship between the locus of control internal with burnout. Based on the results of the analysis known that thelocus of control internalvariable has an empirical rate (RE) of 88.20 and the average hypothetical (RH) of 75 which means the job satisfaction of the research subject is high. Burnout variable has empirical rate (RE) equal to 29,26 and hypothetical mean (RH) equal to 35 which mean burnout subject peneliltian pertained low. Effective donation of 41% locus of control internal on burnout
