Abstract

Waste is the residue of human activities that existence many problems if not managed properly. With the amount of waste that is very much caused due to waste management in Indonesia that has not been effective. In Sukoharjo district there are currently 79 TPS scattered in the region in 7 districts, 3 TPST and 1 TPA. Below is the spread of TPS tables in Sukoharjo District. The purpose of this determination is to analyze the location and allocation of garbage in Sukoharjo District with the hope that waste management can run more effectively and efficiently so as to minimize the social impact caused by the less optimal waste management and make the proposal of waste allocation from each source of waste (TPS) to to landfills (TPA and TPST) on the basis of optimal travel time. In determining the waste allocation is by using P-Median method in which this method is determining the optimal allocation from each point to the facility based on the most optimal travel time. The result of this research is to know the most optimal waste allocation from TPS to TPA, TPST Gonilan, Gumpang TPST, Kwarasan TPST, Depok kartasura with total travel time of 1,482 minutes.
