Abstract

CV. Indonesia Jaya is a printing company of LKS book. In activities to run production, the company uses 3 machines that is 2 web machines and 1 cover machine. Machines that often get damaged is web machine A. There are several components that often have damage to the web machine A, among others components bearing roll, bavel bavel, cross couple, cylinder blanket, cutting stick, water roll and color roll. Of the 7 components are often damaged is a component of bearing roll and bavel bavel. The company implements corrective maintenance system design of maintenance system which is proposed is preventive maintenance in which to apply the system of rotine maintenance and periodic maintenance. Design form control is designed to support preventive maintenance system and also to facilitate the operator in doing the data recap. From damage data of 2016 obtained from company hence can be calculated level of maintainability and availability of both component which often damages if applied preventive maintenance system so in get value maintainability component bearing roll = 0.46 hours and component bavel bavel = 0.34 hours, for value availability is the component of bearing roll = 99.73% and bavel bavel component = 99.83%.
