Abstract
After the use of the product is over, then the next choice is the product must have end of life. End of life is divided into 3 choices, reuse, changes in function value (recycle), or cemetery (landfill). This research has purpose of end of life percentage of consumer, including reuse, change of function value (recycle), or landfill and calculate energy needed when batik cap has end of life by using Simapro 3.8.0.0 software. The results obtained are as many as 250 respondents male 134 respondents (53.6%) and female 116 respondents (46.4%). While for the age classification of 92% is the final adolescents (17 to 25 years) and most of the students 175 respondents (70%). The reason of the respondents ended the life of batik clothes that is not fit for 96 respondents (38.4%). Based on the recapitulation of end of life behavior, the user of batik cap most often performs the function of changing the batik cap function to the cloth or recycle as much as 284 treatment frequency (48.97%) from 580 treatments. Energy resources at recycle is 3.2 kPt, which is equivalent to the environmental impact issued by 3.2 people of european population per year. The energy resources of the landfill is 0,085 kPt, which is equivalent to the environmental impact of 0.085 people per year. The electrical energy output used for landfills is equivalent to 14.4 MJ per year
