Abstract

Revitalization of Silir as a Center for Crafts Industry Solo is an attempt to revive an area that once lived but decline or degradation. Based on the problems faced, the authors will design and design the building Industry Center as a facility that accommodate the production of typical crafts of Solo, especially batik and derivatives so that small entrepreneurs or Silir village community who want to start a business in the field of craft can be facilitated. to achieve that goal, the target to be achieved is to get the concept of Solo Crafts Industry Center with the formulation of planning ideas, site concept, space concept, concept of architectural appearance, structure concept, interior / conditioning concept and utility concept as a place to accommodate and channeling talents, creativity, and ideas in the field of handicraft industry and also can be enjoyed by the people of Surakarta and surrounding areas.
