Abstract
Competent intelligent competition is one of Indonesia’s education evaluation form held every year. SD N Campuranom is doing internal selection to get the best students according to the criteria of the quiz race. This web-based Decision Support System (DSS) is created as an alternative to manual calculations and speeds up the decision-making process in the competent quiz participant selections. DSS was made by using MySQL and PHP. Methods used are waterfall system development method and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) calculation method. The SAW method chosen because it determines the weighting value for each attribute, followed by a ranking process that will provide the best alternative from a number of alternatives. Assessment criteria were taken from the PKN selection test score, Indonesian, MTK, IPA, IPS, average report, mental, and proficiency which are the benefit criteria and the cost criteria were taken from the attendance during middle of first semester. Samples were taken as many as 20 5th grade students with the top rank. The results of the SAW calculation gives the order of students' grades from the highest to the lowest. Three students with the highest score are Delica Aratysya Y.E.P, Putri Wahyu Kinasih, and Areka Lila Pramesti. The decision taken was not a final decision, because the final decision is still based on decision makers.
