Abstract
UKM Batik Cap Oguud that located in Kampoeng Batik Laweyan area is one of the creative industries that makes batik with "Smok" method. The work system in Batik Cap Oguud has many ergonomics aspects that involved in production process such as interaction between worker with job type, tools, internal and external environment condition, also related organization. Interactions that occur can lead to dissatisfaction toward the work system that applied.Condition of work system and good working environment is very important applied in a production process to create employee job satisfaction. Job satisfaction influences workers' commitment, performance, working attide, work situation, and cooperation between management and employees. The purpose of this research is to identify the variables that can influence job satisfaction in UKM Batik Cap Oguud and recommendation that can be given through systematic, holistic, interdisciplinary, and participatory approach (SHIP). The result of the research shows that the problem of job satisfaction in UKM Batik Cap Oguud can be seen through macro ergonomy. Independent variables affecting to assess job satisfaction in UKM Batik Cap Oguud seen from partial test (t test) has value for finance factor 0,04, physical factor 0,126, social factor 0,136, and psychological factor 0,067. Financial factors become factors that significantly affect job satisfaction. SHIP approach that needs to be done is to conduct a re-direction to workers before and after work.
