Abstract
The cultural values of Java is no longer internalized and has been widely abandoned, especially by the younger generation. As one of the events that have cultural values Implant Wangan have meaning, namely, cleaning the drainage ditch from the fountain in girimanik Setren village, south Lawu mountains. Wangan implant ceremony to society Slogohimo Wonogiri containing religious values, and the embodiment of gratitude to God Almighty and the appreciation of the cultural heritage of the ancestral heritage. The purpose of this study was to describe the implant tradition Wangan as As Saran Communications and Public Local Wisdom Preserving Wonogiri. This study is a descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. Subjects in this study were Wonogiri people involved in the preservation of traditions Wangan implant. Data were collected by interview and documentation. The results showed that the traditional ceremony Implant Wangan as local wisdom village Setren that stores a variety of moral teachings and conveyed nonverbally as a form of human relationship with nature (environmental protection), human with human (social solidarity) and man to God Almighty to achieve harmonious and balanced life.
