Abstract

Started from a small group called "Sragen Walker" in Sragen which conduct exploration activities of existing tourism in Sragen which not yet widely known by society. Capitalize the tools that support then made a photo and video uploaded to facebook then known to the public. The government also give full support access to all events in Sragen which include art and tourism. With a qualitative descriptive approach the authors conducted interviews with 4 members of "Sragen Walker" to get detailed and in-depth information covering all activities undertaken by the group (Sragen Walker) in conserving and introducing new tourist attractions in Sragen region. The result is the response of society of Sragen especially very positive. Proved with hundreds of comments written on every video uploaded by Sragen Walker. The peoples who are outside the city and country are happy and proud. Most of the comments written by travelers are about his yearning for their homes. Through the photos and videos it is revealed a fact that wherever the people go or move where the city of Sragen still missed. Expected that the government and the people of Sragen can maintain the preservation of the existing tourism object in Sragen because it can increase the opinion of own society. And also attractions in Sragen can be visited by local tourists and foreign tourists. The above will certainly be a material consideration that Sragen can also develop and become an icon of Indonesian art and culture tourism.
