Abstract
The aims of this research is to know the feasibility of video as a media product for the effective learning for improving the results of the study and increasing the knowledge of the students toward the landslide disaster material in extracurricular Sekolah Siaga Bencana. The method of this research is Pre experimental Design. The design is one group pretest – posttest design which there is an experiment group that was examined by dependet varible (pretest), then was given by stimulus and re examined by dependent variable (posttest) without comparison group. The amount of respondents are 21 who participants of Sekolah Siaga Bencana extracurricular in SMP Negeri 2 Kemalang. There is siginificant result that improve the score of student as 19,43. The pretest score was 63,38 while the posttest was 82,81. The results of the test (t-test) of pretest and posttest data indicate significant value 0.000 > 0.05 so H0 is rejected while H1 is accepted. It shows that the media of learning video stated effectively used, which there is an increasing student learning outcomes towards the landslide material in extracurricular Sekolah Siaga Bencana using video media. The result of video media feasibility test from the expert team is considered feasible to be used as a learning media. Feasibility grade with average value of 3.14 on scale of 1 - 4 with the criteria of "reliable".
