Abstract
The research aims to find out how big the influence of student’s perceptions about lecturer’s pedagogic and personality competence in accounting theory courses toward teacher readiness for students in faculty of teacher training and educational sciences in muhammadiyah surakarta university 2014. This research is quantitative descriptive get the conclusion based on statistical methods. Population of 237 students who were taken as much as 142 students using probability sampling. The data are result from questionnaire and documentation.. Tecnique of analysis data using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, also relative and effective contribution. The result showed there student’s perception about lecturer’s pedagogic competence toward teacher readiness is acceptable. Based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) known that t count> t table, 5,511> 1,960 and significance value <0, 05, that is 0.000 with relative contribution equal to 64, 6% and effective contribution 21, 1%. Student's perception about lecturer's personality competence on teacher readiness is acceptable. Based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) known that t count> t table, is 3,644> 1,960 and significance value <0, 05, that is 0.000 with relative contribution equal to 35, 4% and effective contribution 11, 6%. Student's perception about pedagogic and lecturer's personality competence on teacher readiness is acceptable. Based on analysis of double linear regression variance (F test) known that F count> F table, that is 33,703> 3,000 and significance value <0,05, that is 0.000.
