Abstract
The sharia economic dispute became one of the jurisdictions of the new religious court after the enactment of Law No.3 of 2006. The authority of the Religious Courts is increasing, but the judges are ready to face this authority. The judge's efforts to support his new authority by following the certification conducted by the Supreme Court and continuing his studies to a higher level on sharia economics. Communities already know and trust religious courts to resolve sharia economic disputes. The tendency of Judges in implementing Law No.3 Th.2006 Article 49 of the Religious Courts concerning the settlement of sharia economic disputes, is by applying the Rules of Competition of sharia economic law (KHES). The role of the Religious Courts in Yogyakarta to socialize the new authority has been realized, by launching a magazine, conveying new developments information about PA through webside, and local government in cooperation with Religious Court to include some judges from Religious Courts in DIY to socialize the extension to the public about sharia economy. The Religious Courts do not have special judges in handling sharia economic disputes, since sharia economics is already an authority, as is the case with other authorities. Regarding the principle (adagumius curia novit) in which the judge is considered to know the law even though the sharia economic case is the new authority of the religious court. Not a new thing, therefore the judges do not know about sharia economy, then the judge must know or must be able to find the law. Keywords: Economic Disputes, Sharia Economics, Religious Courts
