Abstract

Arabic as a foreign language still occupies an important in Indonesia, especially for Muslims, it because the position of Arabic as the language of Islam. Don't be surprised if in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia must be taught Arabic. Modern Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School in Palur, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo is one of the leading boarding educational institutions in Arabic learning. The issues that can be raised in this research is how to improve the learning of Arabic language conducted by the teacher and what constraints faced by teachers in an effort to improve the learning of Arabic language to students of class VIII MTs modern boarding school of Al-Amin in Palur, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo in academic year 2015/2016. The purpose of this study is to describe efforts to improve the learning of Arabic language conducted by the teacher and the constraints faced by teachers in an effort to improve the learning of Arabic language in grade VIII students MTs Modern boarding school of Al-Amin. This study uses qualitative methods, with data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. While the method of data analysis in this study using descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of research and data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that the effort to improve the learning of arabic language in second class MTs Modern boarding school Al-Amin Palur is by using variation of Arabic learning method. The method used are: (1) direct method (direct method); (2) natural method (natural method); (3) reading method (reading method).
