Abstract
Surakarta is one town in Central Java province and also one of the city's thriving in Indonesia. This is because much of the development of the sector of education, the advancement of technology, culture and the economy. Cultural in Surakarta itself became an attraction the tourists to visit it. The number of attractions in Surakarta is also becoming its own added value both tourists as well as the surrounding community. There are still tourists who are having trouble finding the attractions of this town so requires information systems. The development of this system aims to facilitate the tourists will find a hotel and also the closest to the location of the tourists are. In the development of the system there is an admin as data manager and web as well as user to see or find a hotel/tourism that is closest to your location. The stages in this study with the data collection of hotels and tourist attractions, will then be developed to be able to simplify and be understood both the public as well as tourists. The design method using waterfall by passing through several phases and the application is displayed in the web form and the Google Maps API, MySQL as the database, PHP (pre hypertext processor) as the programming language. Black box testing results state that the test is valid. The test results using the questionnaire stated that the system that's been developed according the needs of the user and the results of the with the average reach 85,5%.
